Consultation

How can I schedule a consultation?

Click here and choose from the available appoitnments. If you don't see a time that works for you, please message me and I will work around your busy schedule.

How long does a consultation last? Typically, about an hour. Initial consultations can be conducted via Zoom or at your location (NYC and LI only).

How does a Zoom meeting work? Prior to our scheduled appointment, you will receive an email from Zoom with our private, online meeting space. Simply click the link, follow the instructions and we'll be connected.

What information will I need? When you book your appointment, please provide the information requested. It will help us get off to a productive start.

Can I show you other websites, designs or colors that I like? Definitely! Of course, I want your final product to be unique. However, bringing everything to the table helps me understand what is attractive to you.

How much does the consultation cost? Our initial consultation is FREE!

Process

What can I expect after we have our consultation? You will receive a proposal including cost of services, project timeline, payment schedule and contract. In order to provide the best service to my clients, I only accept a few new projects each month. Therefore, it is very important to pay attention to "accept by" dates.

Will a timeline be provided to me? Yes. The timeline will spell out what you can expect during your project build. The timeline will also include scheduled check-ins (touchpoints) with you to get your approval to continue moving forward. It is very important we work together to keep the project on track.

What happens if I decide to add or changes things after the contract is signed? At each touchpoint, you will let me know if you like the progress so far and if I should continue. We can always change minor things (colors, font, etc.). That is why these touchpoints are so important. For major changes, we can discuss any needed changes to the contract and timeline.

Will you be able to build an online store for me? Absolutely. Nothing makes me happier than helping a business compete with the "big guys." I can incorporate your payment system or get you set up through Wix or SquareUp.

What website platforms do you use? I exclusively build sites from Wix. I find that Wix offers the flexibility for me, as the designer, to create exactly the right type of website for my client. And, more importantly, is intuitive and easy to navigate for my clients.

Cost & Payments

How much will my project cost? The cost will be determined by the scope of your project. Fees will be clearly spelled out in the proposal you receive after our initial consultation.

Do you charge by the hour or project? Typically, it's by the project. There are certain projects or situations where the fees will be determined by time spent. But, these are rare and would be explained thoroughly before work commenced.

Are there extra fees I'll need to pay? There may be fees due to outside sources, for example: domain purchases, web hosting, event supplies, etc. You will be provided with the approximate amount these additional services cost in your proposal. I will always work to get the best pricing for you from outside vendors.

What payment options are available? I accept all major credit cards, checks and cash. For your convenience, you can make payments directly through this website. Some outside vendors will be paid directly according to their payment terms.

Will I need to make a deposit? It will depend on the type of contract.

"One Time Only" contracts (for example: website, event, logo, etc.), work will commence once a 50% deposit and signed contract are received. Final payment will be due upon completion of the project.

Annual contracts (for example: website maintenance, social media, etc.) can be paid in full (with a 10% discount) or monthly (automatic payment).

Events

What type of events do you plan?

I can do it all. From grand openings, ribbon cuttings, press conferences and gala events, our extensive network of vendors and connections will produce an event that will exceed your expectations.

Do you attend the event? Yes. I will always make sure everything is going as planned. Your satisfaction and a successful event is always my goal.

Do you help to publicize the event? Yes, if needed. Some events do not need publicity. However, those that do (such as press conference, ribbon cutting, fundraiser) will have publicity included as part of the planning process and contract.
